Behind The Lens
Hey all! I’m Matt Klingle, a Virginia Beach–based photographer with roots in Merrimack, New Hampshire, where I grew up as one of five siblings — and a mirror image twin, nine minutes older than me.
For most of my life, I was the kid who didn’t quite fit in — the one who loved anime, comics, Magic: The Gathering, and martial arts movies long before they were cool. Those passions shaped the imagination that now fuels my photography.
I picked up a camera in 2015, and it quickly became my way of connecting with people and energy — first through music photography, capturing the electricity of live shows and the raw emotion behind performance. Over time, that same creative pulse led me into boudoir, where I help people rediscover their strength, confidence, and individuality.
My work is driven by one idea:
The Real You. Turned Up Louder.
Whether it’s a band lost in the sound or someone reclaiming their power in front of the lens, I aim to capture the emotion that makes every person unforgettable — the moment they stop hiding and start feeling seen.
